    What is a fire risk assessment?

    A fire risk assessment is where we take a close look at your premises and the people who use it, to assess hazards and risks. The aim is to prevent a fire starting and keep you compliant with legislation. 

    Are fire risk assessments a legal requirement?

    Article 9 of The Fire Safety Order 2005 states that a fire risk assessment is a legal requirement. The Building Safety Act 2022 made a recorded fire risk assessment a legal requirement for every premises. 

    How often are fire risk assessments required?

    A fire risk assessment should be reviewed every 12 months or when any major changes take place.

    Do you need a fire risk assessment?

    The Building Safety Act 2022 made it a legal requirement for every premises to have a recorded fire risk assessment.
